Delicious local Bozeman all natural honey direct from the bee keeper to you

Our honey is pure, natural, and delicious raw honey produced under Montana's big sky.
But what does that mean?
Our honey comes direct from our honey bees to your table.
We extract the honey from the frames, run it through a 600 micron filter and then into the jar.
This process filters out a few things, but leaves all the best stuff.
The very best is a little pollen.
The pollen helps people with allergies by minimizing their allergic reactions.
The honey itself calms and soothes your throat bringing additional relief from allergy symptoms.
Honey is famed for it's anti bacterial properties. In fact, they found honey in a tomb in Egypt that was over 4,000 years old. It was crystalized, but completely edible.
Many people believe that raw honey has special health benefits, not only for allergy sufferers, but for a stronger immune system and better overall health.
It takes all natural, unpasturezied, honey to achieve these postitive effects.
For out part, we think local all natural honey just tastes the best.

How to decrystallize honey?

Turn this

crystallized honey jar
clear honey jar

Raw honey tends to crystallize relatively quickly. It turns milky white and becomes very thick, like the jar on the left. This is totally natural and nothing to worry about. In fact many people like their honey in the thick crystallized form. It is easy to spread and if you are adding a spoonful to your cup of tea it just melts right in.

If you want to return your honey back to it's liquid state, like the jar on the right, you just need to heat it to 100 -110 degrees for a short period of time. You do not want to overheat it and definitely do not use a microwave.

There are lots of options that will work.
